Humanities Tennessee Announces Lineup for the 34th Annual Southern Festival of Books

Humanities Tennessee today announced the initial lineup of award-winning, bestselling authors who will headline the 34th Annual Southern Festival of Books, taking place at War Memorial Plaza and the Nashville Public Library’s main branch on October 14-16. The festival will feature appearances by more than 200 authors, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with their favorite writers through a series of live events, panels, book signings and more. 

Southern Festival of Books Announces Author Lineup for 33rd Annual Event

This year’s Festival will feature 100 authors, offering attendees the opportunity to connect online with their favorite authors from a variety of genres, including nonfiction, poetry, mystery, and more. 

A Festival for Readers Everywhere

Julia Alvarez, Yaa Gyasi, Erik Larson, and Natasha Trethewey are just a few of the authors on the roster for the 32nd Southern Festival of Books. Everything’s online this year, and book lovers everywhere are invited. 

Looking Forward to the Festival

Humanities Tennessee today released its lineup of award-winning, bestselling authors who will headline the 31st annual Southern Festival of Books, held in Nashville on October 11-13. The roster includes Samantha Power, Ann Patchett, Ottessa Moshfegh, Pico Iyer, Paul Theroux, Saeed Jones, Casey Cep, Dani Shapiro, and Derrick Barnes, among many others.

The Festival is Coming!

Humanities Tennessee has released its lineup of award-winning, bestselling authors who will headline the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville, October 12-14. The roster includes such notables as Rick Bragg, Ben Fountain, Craig Johnson, Tayari Jones, Lorrie Moore, Celeste Ng, Deborah Plant, Luis Alberto Urrea, The Honorable Sonia Sotomayor, and Jacqueline Woodson.
